Chris is an experienced yoga teacher and Personal Trainer with over 300 credited teaching hours.  Chris earned her 200-hr RYT through Yoga Alliance this year to add to her certifications in Pilates Reformer certified through Pilates Coach and her Certified Personal Trainer through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America.

Since fitness has always been an active part of her lifestyle, the transition between personal training and yoga was very natural.  She first started practicing yoga in California to slow down and stay grounded while raising her two daughters. Yoga became her passion and has been inspired by many national & local yoga teachers including Shiva Rae, Dave Swenson, John Friend, Kathryn Budig, Sandy Gross, and Marni Task.

Chris believes that "We all come to the mat with daily issues and challenges.  Being present allows us to face those issues. Sometimes it’s not easy, but we always feel better after class."  Her favorite yoga poses are inversions, specifically Headstand! She loves the energy that inversions give her! 

Her advice to Students is "to breathe!!!!!!" Yoga is a moving meditation.  The breath is more important than being perfect in the poses. "Do what feels good to you in the moment!"
